Dr. John Selker
Dr. Selker, principle investigator for the OPEnS lab, OSU distinguished professor of Biological and Ecological Engineering, and co-Director of both CTEMPs and TAHMO.org. His areas of expertise include soil hydrology, environmental monitoring, mechanical, analog and digital electronic design. Dr. Selker has been a professor in the department of Biological and Ecological Engineering at Oregon State University for 26 years focused on Water Resources Engineering, publishing more than 175 peer-reviewed articles.
Dr. Chet Udell
Dr. Udell, Director of the OPEnS Lab and OSU assistant professor of Biological and Ecological Engineering. He received his PhD from the University of Florida in Music Composition and Electrical Engineering. He is inventor of U.S. and international patents on wireless sensor technology and data protocols and CEO of a technology startup company.

Douglas Crocker (ECE) - WeatherChimes, Loom
Douglas Crocker is an electrical and computer engineering major who enjoys bonsai caretaking and going on walks.
Paul Gasper (ME) - FluxTool
Paul Gasper is a Mechanical Engineering major, and works on the FluxTool project.
Evan Hockert (ECE) - FloDar, Evaporometer, Loom
Evan Hockert is majoring in Electrical and Computer Engineering and working on the FloDar, Evaporometer, and Loom projects.
Casey Jacklyn - WeatherChimes
Casey Jacklyn is majoring in Electrical and Computer Engineering and working on the Weather Chimes project.
Nicholas Le (ECE) - Dendrometer
Nicholas Le is an Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) major currently working on the Dendrometer project. In his free time, he enjoys making the best of life as well as spending time with friends and family.
Chris Milford (ECE) - Smart Rock
Chris Milford is an undergraduate in the University Exploratory Studies Program, considering Ecological Engineering, Ecology, or Zoology. His goal is to help animal conservation and wildlife restoration acts.
Lars Rasmussen (ME) - Dendrometer
Lars Rasmussen is majoring in Mechanical Engineering and working on the Dendrometer project.
Will Richards (CS) - Loom, Weather Chimes
Will Richards is a Computer Science major working on Loom and Weather Chimes.
Nick (Mykyta) Synytsia (CS) - Pied Piper
Mykyta "Nick" Synytsia is majoring in computer systems with an emphasis on embedded systems programming and computer architecture. Some of his favorite activities and hobbies are astrophotography, enjoying the outdoors, and spending time with family.
Phuong Tran (ME) - Smart Rock
Phuong Tran is majoring in Mechanical Engineering and working on the Smart Rock project.
Bryce Truong (ME) - Smart Rock
Bryce Truong is a Mechanical Engineering Major freshman who is working on the Smart Rock project. He enjoys hikes, mountain biking, and kayaking.

Sarvesh Thiruppathi Ahila is a Computer Engineering student co-leading the Loom project. His hobbies include reading, flying on his flight simulator, ham radio, and coding.

Elliot Zimmer is a Mechanical Engineering Student with a specialization in robotics control. He enjoys golf, hockey, bowling, 3D printing, manufacturing, and programming.
